The SB2EM facility is dedicated to providing high-quality data collection for electron cryomicroscopy (cryoEM), electron cryotomography (cryoET), and electron diffraction of microcrystals (microED). It houses a Glacios microscope, Aquilos cryo-FIB, ifLM and state of the art auxiliary sample preparation equipment that will be available in early fall 2024 for researchers internal and external to UCSB.
